Statewide Beauty Benefit Competition for young women between 18 and 24 years of age

This event, to be held in December 2012 in Seattle, will feature the beauty, talent, intellect, and personality of contestants selected from each state. In this pageant, each contestant will dress herself up. So learn what is needed to look your best without excessive makeup – thanks!

Each state winner will carry the title of Precious Queen the 2nd for one year.  Responsibilities include being a role model in the community by attending community events, and campaigning about health disaster prevention, the need for early immunization, prevention of disease transmission, and quality education for all children.

The national winner will carry the title of Precious Queen the 1st for one year.  During that time she will travel to developing countries and make recommendations to the Board about where its next clinic is needed the most.  Once the clinic has been built, she will be invited to a ribbon-cutting ceremony at which the clinic will be dedicated to her hard work. 

Our goal is to provide a healthy competition, including opportunities for all applicants to grow in self-esteem, confidence, and personal enrichment to become role models for one another and their communities. Contestants will be challenged to showcase their skills in these areas:

● Poise, grace, and elegance on stage

● Communication through writing, speaking, and listening

● Unique talents or gifts

● Organizational skills, time management, and life balance

● Self advocacy for their health and surroundings

● Awareness of global health issues and willingness to communicate this to others

We believe all contestants will benefit greatly from this pageant, resulting in personal growth and enrichment. In addition, all contestants can become health advocates for themselves, their communities, and the world at large.

We have developed a terrific, unique fundraising plan for our winners.

You will be given a fundraising package to distribute in your state for financial support. All expenses for travel and lodging at the National Competition, and an allowance for your National formal dress wear, will be paid for from your fundraising income. It doesn't get any better than this!
